  Jan specifically wanted her program some time other than Relay for Life season, so that it

  would be clear that the purpose of her presentation is to educate us about services

 available from ACS, not to promote Relay for Life.

Corn, Energy, and Common Misconceptions           Mark Sponsler, Colorado Corn

Ethanol from corn has been a boon to Colorado corn growers and is promoted as one means to achieve energy security.  This will be your opportunity to also ask some of the hard questions: What about the energy equation of energy input vs. energy production?  How about the food vs. fuel debate?

The new CSU-led consortium of nine universities and national laboratories is designed to put science to work to help federal, state, local, private and non-profit natural resource managers adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Union Colony Middle School Forensics

Members of Union Colony’s forensics team will demonstrate their skills in one duo and two solo presentations. Get acquainted with one of the school district’s exemplary extra-curricular activities and help these students gain valuable experience in preparation for local, state, and national competitions.
