DUES AND OTHER FEES

CLUB DUES

 Dues are $700 annually, due and payable upon receipt of quarterly statements. Member dues cover all weekly club meals, operating expenses of the club, District and International dues and $25 a quarter for our philanthropy activities. Although the $25 fee is broken out as a charitable, tax deductible contribution on our quarterly statement, it is a mandatory fee.

 Club members may be called upon to support additional funding for Board approved projects, e.g. Polio Plus, Centennial Project.

 Guest Fees 

Guest fees are charged to the individual host member at $11 per guest meal. If the guest is a perspective member and he/she joins the club, the club Treasurer will automatically credit the sponsor’s account $33 for the three times the guest attended before joining.

Foundation Support

There is club anticipation that all members should contribute at least $100 a year toward their Paul Harris Fellow, which requires a total contribution of $1,000.

Greeley Rotary Christmas Fund

The Board of Directors selects a worthy cause as the recipient of our Christmas fund collection. Rotarians are asked to make a voluntary contribution to this annual fund drive which is then given in the name of the Greeley Rotary Club.

Early Riser Contributions

Early Riser envelopes are placed on every table for club meetings. A $1.00 contribution is expected if a Rotarian is unable to stay for the entire meeting. It is also recommended that anyone leaving early offer an apology to the speaker prior to the opening of the meeting. Contributions to this fund supplement our community service funding

Baby Fund

Greeley Rotary has a long standing tradition when the stork arrives. A Rotarian parent donates $1.00 for each pound of the baby’s weight. A Rotarian grandparent contributes $2.00 per pound. The presentation of this donation offers the donor bragging rights to inform the club of the baby’s name, birth date and weight, as well as the parents or grandparents depending on the relationship to the new baby.  Contributions to this fund supplement our community service funding. 

Speakers Gift

Greeley Rotary allows the club president to identify a charity of choice for their year. The club makes a contribution in the program speaker’s name in honor of their contribution to our meeting.
